The Cat Island Old Bight Children's Home was founded in 1999 by missionaries Eric and Susan Hall with the mission of providing a safe, stable home for children in need. Located in the peaceful setting of Cat Island, the home exists to keep siblings together, giving them a place to grow up in a loving, family-like environment. More than just a shelter, it offers education, life skills, and emotional support to help the children build a brighter future. With dormitories, a kitchen, a dining area, and even a church on-site, the home is a true community. While funding is limited—covering only staff salaries—dedicated supporters and local churches help keep the doors open for the 15 to 30 children who rely on it.

The Cat Island Old Bight Children's Home provides a safe and loving space for children, but after years of wear and tear, some essential updates are needed. We’re raising funds to replace the worn flooring throughout the home, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for the children. At the same time, we’re working to provide a new washer and dryer to ensure they have access to clean clothes every day. These simple yet important upgrades will help create a healthier, more stable home where the children can grow and thrive. With your support, we can give them the fresh start they deserve—one step and one spin cycle at a time.
